Self Confidence is the missing piece of the puzzle.

Self-Confidence is so vital for your happiness.
If you don’t feel good about you, it’s hard to feel good about anything else

Coaching, is a very common, if not a necessary service accessed by the elite, successful, experts and mentors in our world. These coaches help them grow their self-confidence and their emotional awareness so that they can consciously access resilience as they grow their lives – through their careers, passions, humanitarian work, creativity and connections. In today’s world, coaching is a more popular service accessed by more of the general population. Many adults are accessing coaching services to re-learn better habits to allow them to maximise their potentials in all areas of their lives. But why is this reserved for adults only? It is not a service most regular parents consider for children, unless it’s sports related. Until now.

As we regularly and proactively enlist our children into educational programs, health services and sporting activities, we must understand that the potential implementation of these self-care tools and skills will be severely limited for a child who does not know how to manage their mindsets, take care of their emotional well-being and learn how to make quality decisions. They are essentially getting in their own way by not knowing how to handle themselves in the best way. They are not the experts on themselves, and they should be! We must allow them opportunities to become self-aware so that they can navigate their lives with fulfilling experiences. This is the ultimate wish for many of us parents, that our kids will be happy in their lives.

Wonderful Me was born from years of working with adults who at a certain point in their coaching journey said “Oh, I wish I knew this about myself when I was a kid!”. We started to ask these adults “why didn’t you?”. Now our wonderful clients are saying that the reason they send their kids to us is because as children, they did not have access to this sort of service. They want their kids to be better equipped for their lives.

A survey conducted in 1998 among 8 to 18 year old’s, showed that 50% of them would like to feel more confident in themselves. They would like to know how to be brave, how to make new friends, how to have a positive attitude and how to be happier. This is the foundation of our Wonderful Me Programs.

There are a few things you will never regret by allowing your child access to resources which allow them to understand themselves better. Because once you know something about yourself, you cannot un-know it. You can ignore it, but not un-learn it. This is a powerful position to be in, because the child who once felt out of control with themselves are now aware of what’s going on and have tools they can apply to help themselves along. This kind of self-awareness is the foundation of self-confidence.

Wonderful Me is not the only coaching program out there - there are some great tools and resources for parents to access. In today’s world, there is nothing more important than building resilience and taking care of the mental well-being of one another. These are not investments you will regret. We encourage you to search for the most suitable services for your children and take confidence in your proactive actions. If you would like some advice on which way to go, please feel free to reach out.
